Understanding and Minding your Mental Health (Crumlin 2017) 

GROW in Ireland, Eastern Region, is presenting a four week programme entitled “Understanding and Minding Your Mental Health”, commencing on Tuesday 3rd October at 3.00pm in St. Agnes Parish Centre, Crumlin.

Week 1:    3rd October  – Understanding and Promoting Positive Mental Health

Week 2:    10th October – Suicide Awareness & Prevention. Guest Speaker Emma Freeman HSE Suicide Resource Officer

Week 3:    17th  October   –Activities to Ensure Good Mental Health Guest Speaker: Dave Flanagan Clinical Nurse Manager, Crumlin Day Hospital

Week 4:    24th  October  – Stress Management & Coping Skills Guest Speaker Lorraine Jenkins, Psychotherapist

The aim of this programme is to promote community awareness around mental health issues and to open up discussion and inform people about supports.

We live in a time when a lot of people are experiencing difficulties, financial, emotional, physical and psychological. We hope that this four week programme will provide information around how to mind your mental health in challenging times and direct people towards the supports that are available.
