GROW at Farm Health and Safety Event in Co. Donegal
GROW will be among the organisations represented at a farm health, safety and security ‘walk and talk‘ event in Co. Donegal.
The Ramelton farm of award-winning dairy farmer John Speer will provide the setting for the event on Tuesday, November 15th which will feature a range of speakers as well as a practical walk, talk and risk assessment session.
The free public event will take place from 12.30 to 3pm at the Ramelton Road farm, located beside Castleshanaghan National School.
Speakers on the day include Michael Chance from the Irish Farmers Association (IFA); William Gaffney from the Health and Safety Authority; Bill Vaughan, Mental Health Ireland and Garda Sergeant Paul Wallace. There will also be presentations by Mabel Russell, IFA Farm Families Representative and Andrew McNamee from Teagasc among others.
As part of the event, a number of organisations will hold information stands including GROW. Please come along and visit the GROW stand and learn more about local GROW groups and GROW’s message of promoting positive mental health and recovery.
