New GROW Group to be set up in Wicklow Town
GROW, one of Ireland’s longest established mental health charities, will open a new GROW group in Wicklow later this month.
GROW’s first ever peer-support group was established almost 50 years ago and this tradition of helping people on the path to mental health recovery will continue on Wednesday, January 17th when a new weekly GROW group gets underway in the De La sale Pastoral centre, Wicklow town.
The group will meet every Wednesday at 2.30pm, is free to attend and open to all over the age of 18.
GROW is a community-based mental health organisation which has been in existence in Ireland for almost 50 years. GROW groups provide mutual help, support and encouragement to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties or struggling with any aspect of their mental wellbeing. Meetings are free to attend and confidential.
