Stigma remains a barrier to mental health recovery but with your help, GROW and others can work together to end such stigma.

500,000 green ribbons will be distributed nationwide, free of charge as a visual symbol of the campaign.

Pick up a Green Ribbon at your local Irish Rail station or Boots Stores nationwide.

Meanwhile, at 11am on Saturday, May 12th in Leebeen Park, Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford, a “Walk and Talk” will be held in support of the Green Ribbon campaign.

Shane, who is the organiser of the Cavan GROW Group, is among those taking part in the walk.

“I am delighted to say YouTube and stage stars Farmer Michael and Kathleen, aka comedian Steveo Timothy and partner Sinead McGrath, will be attending to lend their support  to the event and raise its profile and thus awareness,” highlights Shane.

Well done Shane from all in GROW.
