Fitness Guru Matt Donates Money to GROW for Second Year in a Row
Tipperary fitness guru, Matt Cooney, has very generously donated money to GROW for the second year.
Personal trainer, Matt from MC Future Fitness in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary donated over €4,200 to GROW in recent weeks arising from a fitness photoshoot. Last year, Matt donated €5,000 to GROW.
Matt and a group of 18 volunteers undertook the challenge of getting into photoshoot shape, with the results being unveiled last June.
“I couldn’t be any prouder of everyone and the huge effort that was put into making this bigger and better than the previous year. Everyone showed up in unbelievable shape and all the hard work leading up to it paid off!,” highlights Matt.
“Mental health awareness is a very important matter in Ireland and needs to be addressed. Anyone can be affected by mental health issues. It does not discriminate. We want people to know there is help out there.
“We are looking forward to next year already and continuing to support mental health charities like GROW and promoting the benefits of exercise and nutrition on a person’s mental health,” adds Matt.
