GROW – An Integral Part of Limerick Mental Health Week
World Mental Health Week is being celebrated in Limerick, with a series of events taking place across the city and county.
Limerick Mental Health Week 2017 is supported by GROW and commenced on Friday, October 6th and will conclude this coming Friday, October 13th. Details of events can be found at: www.limerickmentalhealth.ie
On World Mental Health Day – Tuesday, October 10th – a free talk on ‘Living Stress Free’ was delivered by Anna Gibson Steel of the Holistic Centre of Excellence at GROW’s offices at 33 Henry Street.
This Wednesday, October 11th, GROW patron John Lonergan and psychotherapist, counsellor and GROW Area Coordinator Caroline Crotty will co-deliver a free talk on ‘How to be Happy and Content’. It wll take place between 7 and 9p.m. at the Millennium Theatre at Limerick Institute of Technology.
Meanwhile, Patrick Fitzgerald, Director of Limerick Mental Health Week, and GROW Area Coordinator Mary Purcell delivered a fastastic interview about Limerick Mental Health Week and GROW on Limerick’s Live95 FM. You can listen to the interview here.
