GROW Participates in World Mental Health Day Event at Mercy Hospital Cork

To commemorate World Mental Health Day, the Mercy University Hospital in Cork invited all local mental health organisations along to an event they hosted for their staff, on October 10th.

The purpose of this event was to inform their staff, patients and the general public of the supports that are available to them in the local community.

Finola O’Callaghan, Southern Region Area Coordinator, represented GROW at the morning, which was very well attended. Refreshments were available, while a local band which provided musical entertainment for the morning.

The success of this event has ensured that it will now become an annual feature at the Mercy Hospital Cork in honour of World Mental Health Day.
