Grow Mental Health is Ireland’s largest community-based mental health organisation and have  been helping people on the road to mental health recovery for over 50 years.  Â
We hold both Face to Face and Online peer-support groups across Ireland each week. Grow groups follow a practical programme and provide mutual help and support to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties or struggling with their mental wellbeing. Meetings are free and confidential. Â
Besides weekly support meetings, Grow also holds free community education, workplace, carer, and young adult programmes. Â
Role Summary
The purpose of the role is to lead the Head of Department Team (HOD) and other members of staff in delivering on the work plan driven by the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives. The CEO is responsible for all executive performance and for the translation of Board Policies and Decisions into effective actions. The job holder will report to the Board and is expected to operate with autonomy. They will work closely with sub-committees of the Grow Board including but not limited to the finance committee, the governance, compliance and risk committee, the people and culture committee, the national program committee, and attend those meetings. The Board will be responsible for agreeing the priorities for this along with the CEO.
